The best hand craft White Wine (Vinho Verde) of Portugal. But what is a Vinho Verde?
Vinho Verde is not a grape variety, it is a DOC for the production of wine. The name means "green wine," but translates as "young wine", with wine being released three to six months after the grapes are harvested.
Sousa Lopes Reserva 2018 is a hand craft white wine (vinho verde) with total production of only 1,000 bottles per year to ensure each grape is individually selected by hand and its made with care and according to a centuries-old family tradition.
It has an orange blossom to join suggestions of alceps, ginger and spices, all still with a lot of youth.
