2015 was marked by a dry year, but extremely balanced, since it rained in the right amount and at the most appropriate time. The months of July and August had mild temperatures, with hot days and cold nights, which greatly favored the correct maturation of the grapes. The harvest of white grapes began on August 21 and the first red grapes entered the winery, coming from Quinta da Cabreira in Douro Superior, on August 29. The weather conditions until the end of harvest were very favorable, having rained on 15 and 16 September, which favored the tuning of the maturation of some vineyards, namely that of touriga Nacional. The result was white and red wines with excellent aromatic definition and compact structures, composed of round tannins of great quality. A year where wines stand out for their generous fruit, natural freshness and extraordinary elegance.
