A wine of great aromatic complexity, showing both intensity and precision and elegance. Notes of black fruit, wild fruit jams, china ink, licorice, tobacco, dark chocolate and spices. In proof, flavor and volume that seems to have no end, with silk tannins, all in a set supported by a delicate and delicious acidity.
It is from this vineyard, planted in the old-fashioned way, that we extract the essence of Rufete, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Baga, Jaen, Mourisco grapes, among others. A delicate work of creating a sublime wine: exclusive, Classic, intense, complex, elegant and rich. Careful selection in the vineyard, starts the fermentation with treading on foot in the mill and ends in stainless steel vats in “cuvaison” for 30 days. Aging in new French oak barrels for an impressive 50 months, followed by aging in bottle for 8 months before being released to the market.
